BOOK CLUB.

BOOKS YOU JUST NEED TO
TALK ABOUT.

A monthly book club for people who love getting completely absorbed in a story — and then desperately need someone to discuss it with.

Each month, we choose one brilliant book and get together for an informal evening of conversation, opinions, theories, favourite characters and all the bits you couldn't stop thinking about.

No literary analysis required. No clever answers expected.

Just good books, good conversation and good company.

OCTOBER BOOK CLUB

The Time Traveler’s Wife

What if the person you loved could disappear at any moment — and neither of you knew when they’d be back?

For our very first Sally’s Book Club, we’re reading Audrey Niffenegger’s unforgettable The Time Traveler’s Wife.

Henry has a rare condition that causes him to travel unpredictably through time. Clare has known Henry for most of her life — but when they meet in Henry’s present, he has never seen her before.

It’s a love story, but also a story about timing, fate, waiting, marriage, loss and what it means to build a life with someone when time itself keeps getting in the way.

And it is PERFECT book-club material because there is so much to talk about. Is it wildly romantic? Heartbreaking? Problematic? Would you want to know what was going to happen in your future? And does knowing your fate mean you can ever really change it?

Come having loved it, hated it, cried over it, thrown it across the room — we want to hear all of it.

There’s no homework, no literary analysis and definitely no requirement to have clever answers. Just read as much as you can, grab a drink and come and talk books with us.
